The clay setts lead to the wildlife garden, taking a leisurely meandering route past the lush planting of locally-grown perennials and wildflowers. The client did not want a lawn. The next stage in the build was the creation of a gravel garden in front of the trellis panels which was planted with a selection of grasses and perennials to attract butterflies.
